in shakespeare, the principal element of a tragedy is that it can't be prevented but such a simple thing as a child at the screen giving dissent would be enough if it made it through the screen shakespeare plays with the idea that, if we affected this world as much as we were a part of it, it would be a better place. however, to shakespeare, a play's ending is already written by the time that it starts when they read back on our literature, will they think the same of us? are our fates already sealed? is that drama just a child's dream? all of our justice, all of our fights, and all of our failures?
